"Living Large"

Dallas, TX

Dallas is the most populous city in the DFW Metroplex, which is the most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. Dallas is also the 9th largest in the U.S. and 3rd largest in Texas in terms of population. Dallas got its start as an important center for oil and cotton as it lay at the crossroads for many railroad lines. Today the population of Dallas is an estimated 1.3 million residents, and it just won’t stop growing!

Today, Dallas is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and since 2010 it has seen an increase of over 300,000 residents. Which also gives Dallas the title for highest net domestic migration in America. The DFW area is also growing with over 800,000 individuals moving to the areas since 2010. DFW is also the largest metropolitan area in the south and the largest metropolitan area which is not directly navigable to the sea. Without a doubt, Dallas is leading the pack!

From railroad lines to Interstate Highways to the construction of the DFW International Airport (one of the largest and busiest airports in the world and home to the world’s 3rd largest fleet), DFW has established a strong foundation of transportation. In addition to being well connected, Dallas has developed a strong industrial and financial center which continues to draw corporate headquarters from across the U.S. No one is joking when they say that Dallas is, “Living Large”.
